#Clemson dives into AP Poll – SportsTalkSC

A playoff berth is now a real long shot for Dabo Swinney and Clemson (TigerNet)

Saturday night’s big loss at Notre Dame dropped Clemson seven spots from 5th to 12th among voters in the AP poll. They also sent the Irish back in the standings to 20th place. Georgia remains at the top of the AP Top 25 and received 62 of 63 votes for first place. The other went to No. 2 Ohio State. Michigan moved up a spot to No. 3 and TCU moved up three spots to No. 4.

Tennessee, tied with Ohio State for No. 2 last week, fell to No. 5 after its lopsided loss to Georgia. Oregon, LSU, Southern Cal, UCLA and Alabama round out the top 10.

Coastal Carolina received enough votes to accumulate 46 points, and USC also received votes worth six points.
