Justin LaFleur of Harper Creek is the winner of the Enquirer Athlete of the Week

The fans have spoken.

The winner of the latest Enquirer Athlete of the Week fan survey is Justin LaFleur of the Harper Creek Boys’ Swim and Diving Team.

Fans joined with LaFleur to help him beat fellow Athlete of the Week finalists Kaijehl Williams of BCC, Mallory Tucker of Marshall and Aiden Burns of Pennfield. LaFleur got 57% of the vote before 5 p.m. Wednesday’s deadline. Thanks to his fans, he will receive an Enquirer Athlete of the Week t-shirt.

Justin LaFleur of Harper Creek helped the Beavers win the Marshall Invitational on Saturday. LaFleur has won twice in the individual, winning the first in the 200 freestyle and the first in the 500 freestyle. He was also a winner of the Beavers 200 free relay and 400 free relay.

“I love being able to coach Justin. He works hard every day in training and is a leader in the classroom. He has set high goals for himself and for the team this year and is well positioned for them. I’m happy to see his hard work recognized by the community, ”said Harper Creek coach Devin Hurst.
