Penn State wraps up day two of NCAA Championships

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pennsylvania. – Day two of the NCAA Championships at the McAuley Aquatic Center in Atlanta, Georgia, is over.

Today the Nittany Lions swam in the 200 IM and 50 Freestyle Preliminaries. Senior Michael Daly participated in the 200 QNI and arrived in 44and place with a time of 1:44.91. In the free 50, freshman Victor Baganha came 26and place with a time of 7:31 p.m. No individual swimmers qualified for the finals.

During the finals, the 200 freestyle relay was held. Penn State team contributors were Baganha, senior William Robson and Tommy Hurley and junior Lachlan Byrne. They were disqualified for an early takeoff.

Friday-400 IM, 100 Fly, 100 Breast, 400 Medley
Saturday-200 Back, 100 Free, 200 Chest

The Nittany Lions resume competition tomorrow morning at 10 a.m. ET for the 400 individual medley, 100 butterfly, 100 breaststroke and 400 medley preliminaries.
